百龙宝殿
庄严的弥勒尊佛就奉安在大殿中央。百龙宝殿的建筑布局全依照盛唐佛寺的风格精心设计。正殿两侧供奉百佛,百佛形态各异,法相庄严。

坐于莲花月轮之上,雕刻精致华美的如意轮观音尊像。殿堂两侧内有八大菩萨,各尊菩萨的四周围绕着2600尊如意观音像

浴佛的起源,是因悉达多太子在兰毗尼园无忧树下 降生时,九龙吐水洗浴圣身的传说而来。据《过去现在因果经》卷一的记载,摩耶夫人怀胎临近产期,一日出游兰毗尼园,行至无忧树下,诞生了悉达多太子。难陀和伏波难陀龙王吐清净水,灌太子身。因此,后世佛教徒纪念佛陀诞生的仪式,都在佛堂中或露天下净地设灌佛盘,在盘中的莲台上安置着一手指天、一手指地的释迦太子金像,然后灌以香水,以表示庆祝和供养,就叫做“浴佛”或“灌佛”。这一天是佛教四众信徒的欢喜节日。

. In the morning the elephant would bring fruits from the forest to offer to the Buddha and in the evening boil water for him by rolling rocks heated in a fire into a pool of water.A monkey saw the elephant serving the Buddha and brought a honeycomb to offer. The Buddha received it but did not eat the honey, so the monkey took back the honeycomb and considered it. Seeing bee larvae inside, he took them all out and then took only pure honey to offer. This time the Buddha accepted it and ate the honey. |
